Techly IQ-LOK-08-KT notebook-beveiligingskabelslot met 1,4m staalkabel en twee sleutels

In open offices, coworking spaces, and university libraries, laptops and monitors are easy targets for opportunistic theft. The Techly IQ-LOK-08-KT gives you a simple, tool-free way to anchor your device to a desk or fixed structure. Just wrap the 1.4-meter steel cable around a sturdy object, insert the T-Bar lock into the Kensington security slot, and turn the key. Your hardware stays put while you step away for coffee or a meeting.

Why choose it

The zinc alloy lock body resists tampering, while the PVC-coated steel cable protects both the cable and your device from scratches. Two keys mean you always have a spare—keep one on your keyring and one in a safe place. The T-Bar locking mechanism is compatible with the widely used Kensington security slot found on most business laptops and displays.

Ideal use cases

• Securing laptops in shared workspaces or hot-desking environments
• Protecting monitors and projectors in conference rooms or classrooms
• Adding a physical deterrent for docking stations in open-plan offices
• Traveling professionals who need a lightweight, portable lock for hotel rooms or client sites

Good to know

The cable is long enough to loop around a desk leg or table frame, yet flexible enough to coil neatly in a laptop bag. No software or drivers are required—this is a purely mechanical security solution that works instantly. For best results, pair it with a Kensington-compatible slot and ensure the anchor point is immovable.
