TECLINE kabel-sharing-adapter, Cat 5, 2x Ethernet, RJ45 stekker naar 2x RJ45 bus, grijs 11898

In a small office, two workstations need network access but only one Ethernet cable runs back to the switch. The TECLINE Cable Sharing Adapter splits that single 8-wire Cat 5 cable into two independent 10/100 Mbps connections, eliminating the need to pull a second line. Install one adapter at each end of the existing cable, connect your devices, and both get a stable Fast Ethernet link without an extra switch.

Why choose it

This adapter is a cost-effective way to double the capacity of an existing Ethernet cable. It requires no configuration, no power source, and works with standard Cat 5 or better cabling. The compact ABS housing and gold-plated contacts ensure reliable connections in everyday office environments.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting two PCs or printers in a room with only one network drop
• Temporary setups where running new cables is impractical
• Retrofit installations in older buildings with limited cabling

Good to know

Two adapters are required for a complete solution: one at each end of the cable. The adapter does not support Gigabit Ethernet; each channel is limited to 100 Mbps. It is a passive device that simply splits the wire pairs, so both connections must operate at 10/100 Mbps.
