Tefal Easygliss 2 FV5736E0 strijkijzer stoomstrijkijzer Durilium Airglide-strijkzool 2500 W blauw, wit

The Tefal EasyGliss Plus FV5736 is a 2500 W dry and steam iron designed for efficient everyday ironing. It combines a high-power heating element with a Durilium AirGlide soleplate that reduces friction and ensures smooth gliding over fabrics. The iron integrates a 0.27 L water tank for steam ironing and a vertical steam function for steaming garments and drapes. Compact dimensions (approximately 145 mm wide, 150 mm high) and a lightweight build of 1.3 kg improve maneuverability and make the appliance easy to handle during longer sessions.

Advantages

The Durilium AirGlide soleplate provides consistent glide performance and even heat distribution across the plate, enabling faster crease removal with less effort. At 2500 W the iron reaches working temperature quickly and maintains stable steam output. The 2 m cord gives greater reach around the ironing board, while the vertical steam function adds versatility for steaming hanging items. The 0.27 L water tank balances capacity and compact design, keeping the appliance lightweight and simple to store.

Suitable for

• Regular household ironing of shirts, trousers and everyday garments
• Quick touch-ups and last-minute steaming of hanging clothes and curtains
• Users who prefer a compact, easy-to-handle iron for frequent use

How to use

Fill the water tank up to the indicated capacity before use if you require steam, and secure the cap. Select the appropriate temperature setting for the fabric type and allow the iron to reach working temperature. For steam ironing, press the steam control as needed; for vertical steaming, hold the iron upright and apply short steam bursts over the hanging fabric. Glide the iron across the garment at a steady pace to remove creases; avoid prolonged contact on delicate fabrics and always follow garment care labels.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralized water in areas with hard water to reduce limescale buildup. Empty the water tank after prolonged storage to prevent stagnation. Allow the soleplate to cool before storing the iron, and wipe it with a soft cloth to remove residues. For persistent stains on fabrics, test a hidden area first and adjust settings accordingly.
