Tefal EasyGliss Plus FV5735 Strijkijzer Droog- & Stoomstrijkijzer Durilium-strijkzool 2500 W Blauw, Wit

The Tefal EasyGliss Plus FV5735 is a dry and steam iron designed for efficient everyday garment care. Delivering 2500 W of power and fitted with a Durilium soleplate, it provides smooth gliding across fabrics and consistent heat distribution. The iron includes a 0.27 L water tank, vertical steam capability and a 2 m power cord for greater reach. Compact dimensions (approximately 145 mm wide, 300 mm deep, 150 mm high) and a weight of about 1.295 kg make it easy to handle during routine ironing tasks.

Advantages

The Durilium soleplate reduces friction and improves steam diffusion for even results on different fabric types. With a high power rating, the iron reaches operating temperature quickly for faster ironing sessions. The vertical steam function allows steaming of hanging garments and curtains without an ironing board. A modest water tank capacity supports short to medium ironing jobs while the 2 m cord increases maneuverability around the ironing area. The iron’s weight and compact footprint are balanced to deliver stable contact and comfortable handling.

Suitable for

• Daily ironing of shirts, trousers and blouses
• Refreshing suits, jackets and hanging garments using vertical steam
• Small to medium-sized laundry loads where quick heat-up is required
• Users who need a compact iron with good glide and simple controls

How to use

Fill the water tank up to the indicated level when using steam mode and select the appropriate temperature setting for the fabric type. Allow the iron to reach the selected temperature before applying it to garments. For vertical steaming, hold the iron upright at a safe distance from the fabric and apply short steam bursts to remove wrinkles. When using the dry iron function, ensure the water tank is empty and set the steam control to off. After finishing, unplug the iron, allow it to cool and empty remaining water to prevent scale build-up.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralized water if local tap water is hard to reduce limescale formation. For delicate fabrics, test on an inconspicuous area and use lower temperature settings. Regularly clean the soleplate according to the manufacturer’s instructions to preserve glide performance and check the water tank periodically for residual deposits.
