Tefal EasyGliss Plus FV5737 droog- & stoomstrijkijzer Durilium-strijkzool 2500 W turquoise, wit

The Tefal EasyGliss Plus FV5737 is a dry and steam iron designed for everyday garment care. With a 2500 W power rating and a Durilium soleplate, it delivers consistent heat and smooth gliding over different fabrics. The iron includes a 0.27 L water tank, a vertical steam function and a 2 m power cord to simplify handling and reach. Its compact footprint (145 mm × 300 mm × 150 mm) and modest weight make it suitable for regular home use.

Advantages

The Durilium soleplate provides low friction for easier ironing across cotton, linen and mixed fabrics while maintaining even heat distribution. High power output ensures rapid heat-up and stable temperature during use. The built-in vertical steam function enables wrinkle removal from hanging garments and curtains without the need for an ironing board. A 2 m cable offers extended reach and flexibility, and a 0.27 L water tank supports short steam sessions without frequent refills.

Suitable for

• Daily ironing of shirts, trousers and blouses
• Refreshing and de-wrinkling hanging garments and curtains using vertical steam
• Irrigation of small sewing or alteration projects requiring smooth seams
• Quick touch-ups before events or work

How to use

Fill the water tank up to the indicated level before switching the iron on. Set the temperature dial to the appropriate setting for the fabric you are ironing and wait until the indicator shows the iron is ready. For steam ironing, select the steam setting and move the iron slowly across the fabric to allow steam to penetrate fibres. Use the vertical steam function by holding the iron upright at a small distance from the garment and applying short steam bursts to remove wrinkles. After use, switch off, unplug and allow the soleplate to cool before storing.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralised water if your tap water is hard to reduce scale build-up. Empty the water tank after extended periods without use to avoid deposits. Always check garment care labels and adjust temperature accordingly to avoid fabric damage.
