Telefoon-modulair verbindingskabel ShiverPeaks 70095-20W 6/4 westernstekker

The ShiverPeaks Telephone Modular Connection Cable 6/4 Western plug (20.0 m) is a white, pre-terminated cable for analog telephony and related devices. It connects telephones, fax machines and other analog communication equipment to standard wall jacks or PBX extension ports using Western (RJ-type) plugs. The 6/4 conductor configuration provides two active pairs for voice and basic data signalling, and the 20 metre length allows flexible placement of devices in home and office environments.

Advantages

This telephone cable offers a standardized Western plug termination for plug-and-play installation without special tools. The 6/4 conductor scheme supports common single-line telephone setups and compatible analog devices. A 20 metre cable length reduces the need for intermediate extensions and allows positioning of equipment at a distance from the wall jack. The cable’s white jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for most interior settings.

Suitable for

• Connecting landline telephones to wall sockets or PBX extensions
• Hooking up fax machines and analog modems
• Temporary or permanent wiring in home offices and small businesses
• Replacing worn or damaged handset or line cables

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20.0 metres
• Conductor configuration: 6/4 (six-position, four conductors)
• Connector type: Western (RJ-style) plug on both ends
• Color: white jacket
• Intended signal: analog telephony and basic voice/data signalling

How to use

Insert each Western plug into the corresponding wall jack or device socket until it clicks into place. Ensure the cable is routed without sharp bends or strain at the connector ends to maintain reliable contact. For PBX systems, connect the cable to the designated extension port; for single-line telephones, use the wall outlet marked for analog service. Disconnect by pressing the connector latch and gently pulling the plug straight out.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines or close to large electrical equipment that may cause interference. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the cable if the outer jacket or plugs show significant wear.
