Telefoonkabel ShiverPeaks 70150 met TAE N-stekker voor vaste telefoonverbindingen

ShiverPeaks 70150 is a telephone cable with a TAE N-plug designed for fixed-line voice and low-speed data connections. The cable provides a direct physical connection between telephones or terminal devices and wall sockets using the TAE N connector, enabling standard analog telephony and compatible peripheral devices to communicate over existing copper wiring. With a length of 10.0 m it offers extended reach for home or small office installations where the terminal device cannot be placed directly next to the wall outlet.

Advantages

This cable uses a standard TAE N connector on one end and a compatible 6/4 Western-style plug on the other, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of telephones and devices from common manufacturers including Philips and Panasonic. The design offers stable contact quality for voice signals and low-speed data transfer, while the fixed-length construction reduces signal loss and keeps installation simple. The cable insulation and connector housings are built to typical consumer telephony standards for reliable everyday use.

Suitable for

• Connecting analog telephones to TAE N wall sockets in homes and small offices
• Linking fax machines or legacy terminal devices that require a TAE N interface
• Extending reach between wall outlet and desk-mounted phone equipment
• Replacing worn or damaged handset/line cords on compatible devices

Key specifications

• Connector types: TAE N plug (line side) to 6/4 Western-style plug (device side)
• Intended use: analog voice and low-speed data on fixed-line networks
• Cable length: 10.0 m
• Compatibility: designed for standard telephones and devices from common manufacturers such as Philips and Panasonic
• Construction: insulated multi-conductor cable with molded connector housings

How to use

Insert the TAE N plug firmly into the matching wall socket until it clicks or seats fully, and connect the 6/4 Western-style plug to the telephone or terminal device. Ensure both ends are correctly aligned and do not force connectors into incompatible sockets. After connection, verify the dial tone or device signaling to confirm a working link. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinching, or high-traffic walkways to prevent mechanical damage and maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources such as heavy-duty motors, unshielded power lines, or wireless transmitters. If using the cable for a fax or modem, test transmission settings and line quality before routine use; for permanent installations consider securing the cable along walls or under desks with non-invasive clips.
