Telefoonkabel ShiverPeaks 70235 RJ11 6/4, 15 m, zwart

ShiverPeaks 70235 is a 15 m black telephone cable with an RJ11 plug and 6/4 wiring, designed for indoor connections of telephones, fax machines and ADSL-compatible devices to wall sockets. The cable supports typical 4- or 6-wire analogue telephone lines and provides a flexible insulated lead for fixed handset or line routing in home and office environments. Its length accommodates placement of equipment at a distance from the wall outlet while keeping a standard modular RJ11 interface.

Advantages

The cable offers a standard RJ11 connector compatible with most analogue telephony devices and modems, together with 6/4 internal wiring to support common line configurations. Its 15 m length reduces the need for additional adapters or extenders and the flexible insulation simplifies routing behind furniture or along skirting boards. The black outer sheath provides discreet appearance in mixed equipment environments and the construction is intended for indoor use where a reliable fixed connection is required.

Suitable for

• Connecting corded telephones to wall sockets in homes and offices
• Linking fax machines or ADSL modems to analogue telephone lines
• Extending line reach where a fixed-length RJ11 cable is needed

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ11 plug
• Wiring: 6/4 (six conductor cable with four used conductors)
• Length: 15 metres
• Color: black
• Usage environment: indoor installations
• Application: analogue telephone lines, fax, ADSL modem connections

How to use

Route the cable from the wall socket to the device, avoiding sharp bends and pinches. Insert the RJ11 plug firmly into the wall socket or device jack until it clicks. If connecting to a device with a different connector type, use an appropriate adapter before inserting the RJ11 plug. Ensure connections are secure and avoid tension on the cable to prevent strain at the connector ends.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep the cable away from large power cables and strong electromagnetic sources. Use this cable for indoor fixed installations; do not expose it to prolonged moisture or outdoor conditions. If using with ADSL services, place the cable to minimize interference and consult your service provider for any line-splitting or filter requirements.
