Telefoonkabel ShiverPeaks 76840-10 2x2x0,6 mm rond 10 m

ShiverPeaks 76840-10 telephone cable is a 10 m round lead designed for telephony and low-voltage signal connections. The cable contains two twisted pairs with a conductor diameter of 0.6 mm and a flexible outer jacket that eases routing in conduits, behind wall plates and around equipment. Its construction is intended for short-range voice links, PBX extensions and other low-voltage installations where a compact, round cable is preferable.

Advantages

The round jacket and stranded conductor construction provide improved flexibility for installation in tight spaces and for retrofitting behind devices. Two twisted pairs reduce crosstalk and help maintain clear voice signals over short distances. The cable’s jacket is suitable for concealed installation and offers reliable mechanical protection for the conductors while keeping the overall diameter compact.

Suitable for

• Connecting landline telephones to wall sockets
• Extending PBX/telephone system extensions within buildings
• Short-range low-voltage signal links and intercoms
• Routing in conduits, trunking and behind mounting plates

Key specifications

• Cable type: round telephone/low-voltage cable with two twisted pairs
• Pair configuration: 2x2 twisted pairs
• Conductor diameter: 0.6 mm
• Length: 10 m
• Outer construction: flexible jacket suitable for concealed installation
• Intended use: voice and low-voltage signal transmission over short distances

How to use

Strip the outer jacket carefully to expose the two twisted pairs, keeping pair twisting intact as much as possible to preserve signal quality. Terminate conductors to compatible telephone plugs, modular jacks or terminal blocks following the wiring standard used in your installation. Route the cable through conduits or behind devices, avoiding tight bends with radii smaller than the cable diameter. For best results, keep cable runs for voice or low-voltage signals within recommended short-range distances and avoid running in parallel with high-voltage power cables.

Recommendations

Use this cable indoors for concealed or surface-mounted telephone wiring and short low-voltage links. Avoid outdoor exposure, direct sunlight and prolonged contact with moisture. When installing in installations with many cables, separate from mains wiring to reduce potential interference.
