Telefoonkabel ShiverPeaks 76840-5, 2x2x0,6 mm rond, 5,0 m

The ShiverPeaks 76840-5 telephone cable is a 5.0 m round cord with two twisted pairs and a conductor diameter of 0.6 mm. Intended for telephony and low-voltage voice/data connections, this cable is suitable for short in-room runs, handset extensions and tidy wiring in homes or small offices. The round jacket and compact construction allow for discreet routing and simple installation in surface or flush-mounted setups.

Advantages

This telephone cable offers reliable signal transmission for voice and low-speed data over short distances thanks to its two twisted pairs and consistent conductor diameter. The round outer sheath provides mechanical protection while remaining flexible enough for easy routing in conduits, behind furniture or through wall cavities. Its length and design simplify replacement or extension of handset cords and internal telephone connections without requiring complex tools.

Suitable for

• Handset extensions and telephone set connections
• Short in-room voice and low-voltage data runs
• Home and small office internal wiring
• Surface or flush-mounted installations where a compact round cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable type: round telephone cable with two twisted pairs
• Conductor configuration: 2x2 (two pairs)
• Conductor diameter: 0.6 mm
• Length: 5.0 m
• Application: low-voltage voice and data connections, telephony
• Sheath: flexible outer jacket suitable for indoor routing

How to use

Prepare end terminations according to the telephone device or wall socket being used; strip the outer jacket carefully to avoid nicking the conductors and separate the twisted pairs as required by the connector. For handset or desk telephone connections, attach the connector or wiring block following the device manufacturer’s pinout. Route the cable along the planned path ensuring it is not pinched by doors or furniture and avoid tight bends that could damage the conductors. When installing in wall cavities or conduits, follow local regulations for low-voltage cabling.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep runs short and avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines to reduce potential interference; use short, direct routes and secure the cable with appropriate clips or conduits in permanent installations.
