Telefoonkabel ShiverPeaks BS70086-W 6 m wit

The ShiverPeaks BS70086-W 6 m White telephone cable is a fixed-line connection lead designed to link telephones, fax machines and modems to wall sockets or telecommunication devices. The cable comes in a 6-metre length and is finished in white, combining a low-profile appearance with the ability to reach devices at a moderate distance without additional extensions. Each end is fitted with a standard RJ-11 connector to match common analogue telephone outlets and consumer telephony equipment.

Advantages

This telephone cable provides a straightforward wired connection with predictable signal transmission and minimal setup required. The 6 m length offers placement flexibility while avoiding excess cable clutter in typical home or office layouts. The white jacket helps the cable blend with light-coloured interiors, and the standard connectors ensure broad compatibility with analogue telephone systems and many ADSL/ADSL2+ modems that use RJ-11 ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting a landline telephone to a wall socket
• Linking a modem or router requiring an RJ-11 connection
• Setting up fax machines or analogue telephony equipment
• Temporary or permanent wiring in home and small office environments

Key specifications

• Cable length: 6 metres
• Connector type: RJ-11 on both ends
• Cable colour: White
• Intended signal type: Analogue telephone/modem lines
• Construction: Single lead suitable for standard telephony wiring

How to use

Insert one RJ-11 connector into the telephone wall socket or the line input on your modem or telephone base. Insert the opposite RJ-11 connector into the corresponding socket on the device you want to connect. Ensure connectors click into place and that the cable runs without sharp bends or excessive tension. If the distance is greater than 6 m, use an approved extension cable or reposition devices to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid routing the telephone cable alongside high-voltage power lines or heavy electrical equipment to reduce potential interference. Keep the cable secured with appropriate clips to prevent tripping hazards and inspect connectors periodically for damage or looseness. Use the cable for analogue RJ-11 compatible devices; for digital or ISDN installations, use the appropriate cable type specified by the equipment manufacturer.
