Telefoonkabel ShiverPeaks BS70116-6/2 6 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS70116-6/2 6m Black telephone cable connects devices with a TAE (N) socket to equipment using an RJ-11 plug. At six metres length, the cable provides flexible placement of landline phones, fax machines and intermediate adapters while maintaining signal integrity. The black outer jacket offers a discrete appearance suitable for home and office interiors, and the cable is designed for consistent electrical contact and mechanical durability.

Advantages

This telephone cable combines a standardized TAE (N) connector with an RJ-11 plug to ensure compatibility with common telephony equipment. The 6 m length balances reach and manageability, reducing the need for extensions. Durable insulation and strain relief at the connectors help prevent wear from repeated plugging and movement. The black finish conceals the cable in most environments and contributes to a tidy installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting landline telephones with TAE (N) sockets to devices or wall outlets that use RJ-11
• Setting up desk phones and cordless base stations in homes or small offices
• Interfacing fax machines or analogue modems to telephone lines

Key specifications

• Cable length: 6 metres
• Connector types: TAE (N) on one end, RJ-11 on the other
• Outer colour: black
• Conductor type: insulated copper conductors (standard telephony wiring)
• Construction: single-pair telephone cable suitable for analogue voice signals

How to use

Insert the TAE (N) connector into the corresponding TAE socket on your telephone wall outlet or base unit, and plug the RJ-11 connector into the phone device, modem or adapter. Ensure the connectors are fully seated to achieve a secure electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and protect it from pinching or heavy foot traffic. If trimming or terminating is required, use proper tools and follow telephony wiring standards.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large transformers or power switching equipment. Avoid tightly coiling the cable for prolonged periods and check connectors periodically for signs of oxidation or mechanical damage. Use the 6 m length to position equipment for optimal ergonomics and signal reliability.
