Telefoonkabel ShiverPeaks S/CONN 8-aderig plat, zwart, 10 m

ShiverPeaks S/CONN 8-wire flat telephone cable, 10 m, is designed for voice and low-speed data telephony wiring in residential and light-commercial environments. The flat profile and eight conductors allow compact routing under carpets, along skirting boards, or behind furniture while providing the connections required for analog phones, PBX extensions and basic telephony devices. The cable's flexible construction eases installation in confined spaces and supports neat cable management where space is limited.

Advantages

The flat eight-conductor design reduces cable bulk and simplifies discreet installation in low-clearance areas. Flexible insulation and a slim cross-section make the cable easy to bend and guide around corners without kinking. The cable is suited to standard telephony signal levels and provides a straightforward solution for extending telephone lines or connecting extensions in PBX systems. Its black sheath offers a neutral appearance for visible runs along skirting or behind furniture.

Suitable for

• Connecting analog telephones to wall sockets
• Extending PBX or key telephone system extensions
• Routing telephone lines under carpets or along skirting boards
• Low-speed data links and voice channels in residential setups

Key specifications

• Cable type: flat telephone cable with 8 conductors
• Length: 10 meters
• Color: black
• Conductor count: 8 cores suitable for multi-line telephone connections
• Construction: flexible flat profile for low-profile routing
• Intended signals: voice and low-speed data telephony

How to use

Measure the required run and route the cable along the chosen path, keeping bends gentle to preserve conductor integrity. For wall or skirting runs, tuck the flat cable beneath the skirting or under carpet edges where possible; for behind-furniture routing, guide the cable through existing gaps. Terminate conductors with appropriate telephone plugs or patch connections compatible with the target equipment, ensuring correct pairing and polarity where applicable. Avoid sharp kinks and do not subject the cable to sustained heavy loads or crushing.

Recommendations

For reliable voice quality, keep the cable clear of high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources. When installing near other low-voltage wiring, maintain separation to reduce potential interference. Use proper connectors and test line continuity after installation to confirm correct connections.
