The DeLOCK 18480 thermal pad is a silicone-free heat conduction pad with a thermal conductivity of 3 W/m·K and dimensions of 20 x 70 x 1.75 mm. How to use

Clean the contact surfaces of the component and the heat sink to remove dust and grease. Cut the thermal pad to the required shape and size if necessary. Remove protective liners and place the pad between the component (for example an M.2 module) and the heat spreader or heatsink, ensuring even contact and avoiding air gaps. Reassemble the device according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Recommendations

For reliable thermal performance, ensure the pad fully covers the intended contact area and that mounting pressure provides uniform contact. Avoid stretching the pad when fitting and keep it away from sharp edges. Store unused pads in a dry, dust-free environment.
