Thermostatische radiatorkraan Aqara W600 (model WT-A03D) – slimme radiatorthermostaatkraan

The Aqara W600 (model WT-A03D) thermostatic radiator valve is a smart valve for radiator heating systems that enables automated temperature regulation and remote control. Designed to replace manual radiator heads, this device supports Thread and Zigbee connectivity and is compatible with Matter-enabled platforms, allowing integration with Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The W600 provides precise temperature control with 0.5°C resolution, supports external climate sensors for improved measurement, and includes a rotatable LED display for easy reading of set temperatures.

Advantages

The thermostat applies Spatial Intelligence to reduce heating in unoccupied rooms and focus energy where it is needed, helping to lower energy consumption. Dual-protocol support (Thread and Zigbee) ensures flexible integration with a wide range of smart home ecosystems, while Matter compatibility in Thread mode enables direct connection to popular platforms without an additional hub. Temperature regulation with 0.5°C accuracy and optional external sensors improve comfort and measurement reliability. Quiet operation below 30 dB and up to two years of battery life minimize disturbance and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Replacing manual radiator heads to enable automated room temperature control
• Smart home setups using Thread, Zigbee or Matter protocols
• Rooms where presence-based heating and energy savings are desired
• Bedrooms and living areas requiring quiet, precise temperature regulation
• Multi-zone heating where grouping several thermostats is beneficial

Key specifications

• Temperature control accuracy: 0.5°C
• Wireless protocols: Thread and Zigbee (Matter support via Thread)
• Presence-aware Spatial Intelligence for room-level heating optimization
• Support for external climate sensors to measure temperature close to occupants
• Noise level: below 30 dB during operation
• Battery life: up to 2 years (typical usage)
• Rotatable LED display (180°) for status and temperature readout
• Voice control support via Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa when integrated with respective platforms
• Multi-device grouping to synchronize multiple radiator valves

How to use

Install the Aqara W600 by removing the existing manual radiator head and mounting the thermostatic valve according to the radiator adapter compatibility and installation instructions. Pair the device with your smart home network using Thread or Zigbee and follow the app prompts to add the valve to your home system. Configure desired temperature setpoints, schedules and Geofencing 2.0 options within the companion app or compatible platform. If available, pair external Aqara climate or presence sensors to enable Spatial Intelligence and more accurate temperature control.

Recommendations

Use the W600 together with presence and climate sensors for optimal energy savings: enable Spatial Intelligence to reduce heating in unused rooms and set schedules or geofencing for automatic adjustments based on daily routines. For large rooms, group multiple thermostatic valves to maintain uniform temperature. Periodically verify battery status in the app and replace batteries as indicated to ensure uninterrupted operation.
