Thermostatische radiatorkraan DANFOSS Redia RA click 015G5120, 1/2 inch aansluitmaat

The DANFOSS Redia RA click thermostatic radiator valve 015G5120 with a 1/2" connection size is designed to regulate room temperature by controlling the hot water flow to a radiator. The RA click series provides stable temperature control through a compact thermostatic head and a precision valve body that responds to ambient temperature changes, helping maintain comfortable indoor conditions and improving heating system efficiency.

Advantages

The RA click valve features a simple click-fit installation method that reduces fitting time and the risk of installation errors. Its thermostatic mechanism offers accurate, automatic regulation of radiator flow according to set room temperature, enabling energy savings and consistent comfort. The valve body is compatible with standard 1/2" radiator connections and is constructed to withstand routine heating system pressures and temperatures while ensuring reliable operation over time.

Suitable for

• Residential radiators in apartments and houses
• Small commercial spaces with individual radiator control
• Replacement of manual radiator valves to enable automatic temperature regulation
• Heating systems where reliable, compact thermostatic control is required

Key specifications

• Connection size: 1/2" suitable for standard radiator fittings
• Type: Thermostatic radiator valve with click-fit attachment mechanism
• Control: Automatic temperature-sensitive valve operation for room-level regulation
• Design: Compact thermostatic head with precision valve body for stable flow control
• Application: Suitable for domestic and light commercial heating systems

How to use

Install the valve onto the radiator inlet using the 1/2" connection, ensuring the system is depressurized and cooled before fitting. Attach the RA click thermostatic head according to the click-fit instructions, then slowly repressurize and check for leaks. Set the desired room temperature using the thermostatic head control positions; the valve will automatically modulate flow to maintain the selected temperature. Periodically inspect the valve and connections during routine heating system maintenance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, balance the heating circuit after installing thermostatic valves to ensure even heat distribution. Avoid covering the thermostatic head with curtains or furniture and perform regular visual checks for leaks or blockages. In systems with hard water, consider routine maintenance to prevent scale build-up that can affect valve operation.
