Active Key AK-C7000FA-UVS-W/GE IP68 sealed white waterproof stainless keys is a sealed keyboard designed for operation in wet, dusty or otherwise demanding environments. The unit features a white finish and stainless steel keys that resist corrosion and allow thorough cleaning. With IP68 ingress protection, the keyboard is intended for industrial workstations, outdoor terminals, medical and food-processing areas where moisture, contaminants and frequent sanitation are present.

Advantages

The keyboard combines an IP68-rated sealed enclosure and stainless keys to ensure long-term resistance to water, dust and cleaning agents. Its surface and construction minimize gaps and crevices where debris or bacteria could accumulate, facilitating hygienic maintenance. The white finish improves visibility of key legends and provides a neutral aesthetic for clinical or industrial settings. The product is built to withstand repeated cleaning cycles and exposure to harsh conditions without loss of function.

How to use

Install the keyboard according to the workstation or terminal mounting guidelines, ensuring cable connections and any sealing interfaces are correctly fitted to maintain IP68 protection. Use the keyboard in environments where exposure to water, liquid splashes or dust is expected. Operate keys as a standard input device; stainless steel keys provide tactile feedback while resisting surface damage. After use in contaminated areas, clean surfaces using manufacturer-recommended disinfectants and procedures to preserve the enclosure and key integrity.

Recommendations

To maintain IP68 performance, verify that mounting cutouts and cable glands are properly sealed and that cleaning agents used are compatible with stainless steel and enclosure materials. Avoid using abrasive tools or concentrated corrosive chemicals that could damage seals or key surfaces. Regular inspection and gentle cleaning prolong service life in demanding environments.
