Toetsenbordhoes Microsoft Surface Pro Flex Type Cover Y8U-00006 met Surface Slim Pen 2, zwart

The Microsoft Surface Pro Flex Type Cover Y8U-00006 with Surface Slim Pen 2 in black is a detachable keyboard cover designed for compatible Microsoft Surface Pro tablets. It combines a compact keyboard surface with a protective cover and includes the Surface Slim Pen 2, a pressure-sensitive stylus that stores with the cover where tablet hardware supports pen attachment and charging. The bundle is intended to provide laptop-style typing, a protected screen when closed, and an integrated input option for handwriting and precision tasks.

Advantages

The Type Cover offers a slim, detachable keyboard that protects the tablet display while providing physical keys for faster text entry compared with on-screen keyboards. Inclusion of the Surface Slim Pen 2 adds pen input for writing, sketching and precise navigation; when used with Surface Pro models that support pen storage and charging via the cover, the pen is kept accessible and charged. The black finish matches common Surface colorways and is designed to be lightweight for portability.

Suitable for

• Everyday productivity: typing emails, documents and web browsing
• Note-taking and sketching with the Surface Slim Pen 2
• Mobile use where a protective keyboard cover is needed
• Students and professionals who alternate between tablet and laptop modes

How to use

Attach the Type Cover to a compatible Microsoft Surface Pro tablet using the magnetic connector along the device edge; the cover functions as a keyboard when connected and folds back when you want to use the tablet in tablet mode. Use the Surface Slim Pen 2 to write, draw or select on the touchscreen—follow the tablet’s pairing instructions if wireless pairing is needed. If your Surface Pro model supports pen storage and charging with this cover, place the pen in the designated slot on the cover to attach and charge it. Close the cover to protect the display during transport.

Recommendations

To ensure reliable attachment and charging, keep the connector area and pen storage slot free of dust and debris. Use tablet settings to calibrate pen pressure and button functions where available. Store the Type Cover flat or closed when not in use to protect the keyboard surface, and consult your Surface Pro model’s documentation to confirm compatibility and full feature support.
