How to use

Power off the Brother printer and open the front cover or drum access panel according to the printer user manual. Carefully remove the used DR-3600 drum unit by following the removal steps recommended by the printer manufacturer. Unpack the Top-Jet DR-3600 compatible drum unit from its protective packaging, remove any protective strips if present, and install the new drum into the printer in the same orientation as the removed unit. Close the cover, power on the printer, and run a test print or alignment cycle if the printer prompts for it. Dispose of the old drum following local electronic waste guidelines.

Recommendations

For consistent output, replace the drum unit when print quality declines (streaks, faded areas, or inconsistent density) or when the printer indicates drum replacement is due. Use genuine or compatible toners recommended for DR-3600-series drums and perform routine printer maintenance—such as cleaning corona wires and paper paths—to maximize drum life and maintain reliable monochrome printing performance.
