Torx-bit Wera TR 15 3867/4 TX BO 15 x 89 mm roestvrij staal

Wera Torx bit TR 15 (3867/4 TX BO) is a 15 x 89 mm stainless steel bit designed for Torx fasteners. The elongated construction provides extended reach to access recessed or hard-to-reach screws while maintaining compatibility with standard bit holders and screwdrivers. Constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the bit is intended for repeated use in assembly, maintenance and repair tasks where a long-reach Torx TR15 is required.

Advantages

The stainless steel material offers corrosion resistance for use in environments with occasional moisture exposure, reducing the need for frequent replacement. The 89 mm overall length gives improved accessibility into deep or recessed screw positions without sacrificing torque transmission. Precision-machined Torx geometry ensures reliable engagement with TR15 fasteners, minimizing cam-out and wear. The bit’s compatibility with common holders and quick-change systems makes it convenient for use in tool sets and on-site work.

Suitable for

• Accessing recessed TR15 Torx screws in assemblies and housings
• Maintenance and repair tasks in workshops and on-site service
• Electronics and appliance servicing where a long-reach Torx is needed
• General assembly work requiring corrosion-resistant bits

Key specifications

• Bit type: Torx TR15
• Length: 89 mm overall (long-reach design)
• Tip size: 15 (TR15)
• Material: stainless steel (corrosion-resistant)
• Compatibility: standard 1/4" bit holders and bit drivers

How to use

Insert the Torx bit into a compatible 1/4" bit holder or screwdriver chuck until it seats securely. Align the TR15 tip with the corresponding Torx fastener and apply steady axial pressure while turning the driver to avoid slipping. For deep or recessed screws, ensure the bit is fully seated and the driver remains aligned with the fastener axis to maintain proper engagement. After use, clean the bit and store it in a tool holder to protect the tip geometry.

Recommendations

Use the bit within the torque limits appropriate for TR15 fasteners to prevent tip deformation. Avoid exposure to strong acids or chlorides that can affect stainless steel over time. Periodically inspect the tip for wear and replace when signs of rounding or reduced engagement appear.
