Toslink/3.5mm glasvezeladapter ShiverPeaks BS69050 zwart

The ShiverPeaks Toslink to 3.5mm fibre optic adapter BS69050 Black converts digital optical audio (Toslink) to a 3.5mm compatible optical input, providing a compact interface for connecting optical audio sources to devices that accept a 3.5mm fibre connector. The adapter has a black finish and is designed for straightforward inline use where a direct optical-to-3.5mm fibre link is required. It maintains digital signal transmission characteristics of fibre optic audio and is suitable for home audio, portable DACs, soundbars and similar equipment that support a 3.5mm optical connection.

Advantages

The adapter provides a simple and compact solution for linking Toslink outputs to 3.5mm optical inputs without conversion to analog; the fibre optic medium preserves digital audio integrity and minimizes electromagnetic interference. Its compact black housing is designed for easy integration into existing setups and offers mechanical durability for regular connection and disconnection. The product supports plug-and-play operation with no additional power or software required.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs, CD/DVD/Blu-ray players and media streamers with Toslink outputs to devices with a 3.5mm optical input
• Use with portable digital-to-analog converters (DACs) that accept 3.5mm optical input
• Integrating optical audio sources with soundbars, mini-systems and headphone amplifiers that feature 3.5mm fibre connectors
• Temporary or permanent installations where a compact optical adapter is required

Key specifications

• Connector types: optical Toslink (female) to 3.5mm optical (male/female depending on device orientation)
• Signal type: digital optical audio (PCM-compatible)
• Housing color: black
• Form factor: compact inline adapter suitable for limited-space setups
• Compatibility: designed for devices supporting standard Toslink and 3.5mm optical interfaces

How to use

Insert the Toslink plug from the source device into the Toslink end of the adapter and connect the 3.5mm optical end to the receiving device. Ensure both source and receiver are powered and set to the correct optical audio mode if necessary. Align connectors carefully to avoid damage to the optical ferrule; fibre optic connections require straight insertion without force. No drivers or external power supply are required for basic signal pass-through.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends or stresses on fibre optic cables near the adapter and keep the connection points free of dust; use a soft, dry brush or compressed air to clean optical ends if necessary. Verify device audio output settings and sample rate compatibility if audio is not detected immediately.
