TP-Link AC1200 draadloze dualband PCI Express wifi-adapter

TP-LINK Archer T4E is a dual-band PCIe Wi‑Fi adapter that supports the IEEE 802.11ac standard, providing faster wireless connections compared with 802.11n. The adapter offers concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation so routine tasks like email and web browsing can use the 2.4 GHz band while gaming, HD streaming and other bandwidth-intensive applications take advantage of the faster 5 GHz band.

Advantages

Archer T4E improves signal stability and coverage through beamforming and two external antennas. A built-in heat sink dissipates thermal energy to maintain stable operation and may contribute to a longer service life. The dual-band design allows efficient distribution of network traffic between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: IEEE 802.11ac (backward compatible with 802.11n/g/b)
• Dual-band operation: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
• Antenna: two external antennas
• Technology: beamforming for targeted signal
• Cooling: integrated heat sink for thermal dissipation

How to use

Install the Archer T4E into an available PCIe slot on your desktop motherboard, secure the card and attach the external antennas. Install drivers provided by TP‑LINK or downloaded from the manufacturer website, then connect to your wireless network selecting 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz depending on the application needs. Position the external antennas for optimal reception and, if necessary, adjust router placement to improve coverage.

Recommendations

For best results, use the 5 GHz band for gaming and HD streaming and reserve 2.4 GHz for general browsing and background tasks. Keep the area around the adapter ventilated to support the heat sink’s cooling effect and update drivers periodically from TP‑LINK to ensure compatibility and performance.
