TP-Link AC1200 dualband-wifirouter

The Archer A5 dual-band Wi‑Fi router delivers faster wireless connections using IEEE 802.11ac (Wireless AC) technology. It provides up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, making it suitable for HD streaming, online gaming and other bandwidth-intensive tasks. The router includes four external antennas for improved signal sensitivity and broader coverage, and offers features for guest access, parental controls and simple setup via a web interface or the Tether mobile app.

Advantages

The Archer A5 combines dual-band speed with improved coverage via an optimized four-antenna design, enabling more stable connections across the home. Built-in parental controls and blacklist filtering allow administrators to restrict access by keywords. A dedicated guest network and Facebook-based captive portal provide convenient and segregated access for visitors without exposing the main network. Setup and ongoing management are available through an intuitive web interface or the Tether app on Android and iOS devices.

Key specifications
