TP-Link Archer T3U Plus WLAN-adapter

The Archer T3U Plus dual-band USB Wi‑Fi adapter provides flexible wireless connectivity for desktops and laptops. It supports 2.4 GHz for everyday tasks and 5 GHz for higher-bandwidth activities, delivering stable reception and improved range through a high-gain antenna design.

Advantages

The adapter offers dual-band operation (2.4 GHz up to 400 Mbps and 5 GHz up to 867 Mbps), an advanced high-gain antenna architecture to extend reception range, MU‑MIMO support for improved throughput with compatible routers, and an adjustable multi-directional antenna to optimize performance in different environments.

Key specifications

• Dual-band: 2.4 GHz (up to 400 Mbps) and 5 GHz (up to 867 Mbps)
• High-gain serial antenna architecture for improved reception and range
• MU-MIMO support for two simultaneous data streams with compatible routers
• Adjustable multi-directional external antenna
• Interface: USB (USB adapter form factor)

How to use

Insert the Archer T3U Plus into an available USB port on your computer and install the provided drivers or the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website. Choose the 2.4 GHz band for standard browsing and messaging or connect to the 5 GHz band for gaming, HD streaming and large downloads. Adjust the external antenna direction to improve signal strength and reposition the adapter if necessary for the best reception.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the Archer T3U Plus with a MU‑MIMO capable router and keep the antenna oriented toward the router. If you experience interference on 2.4 GHz, switch to the 5 GHz band for higher throughput and lower congestion.
