TP-Link EX520 WLAN-router Gigabit Ethernet dual-band (2,4 GHz / 5 GHz) zwart

The TP-Link EX520 is a dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 tabletop router offering combined wireless throughput up to 1775 Mbps and Gigabit Ethernet ports for high-speed wired connections. Designed for home networks, it upgrades both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to 802.11ax, adds MU‑MIMO and OFDMA for higher device capacity, and supports EasyMesh for unified multi-unit coverage. The unit includes four high-performance antennas, Beamforming, WPA3 security support, and remote management options for ISPs.

Advantages

Wi‑Fi 6 technology delivers faster wireless speeds, reduced latency, and greater capacity so multiple devices can stream, game, and download simultaneously. Beamforming and four external antennas extend and concentrate coverage for more reliable connections throughout the home. Gigabit WAN and four Gigabit LAN ports provide stable wired performance for PCs, smart TVs, and consoles. EasyMesh compatibility and Aginet management make it simple to build and operate a whole-home mesh network, while TR‑069 and related protocols enable remote ISP management.

Suitable for

• 4K/8K video streaming and media playback
• Online gaming with multiple players and low-latency needs
• Homes with many Wi‑Fi devices (smartphones, tablets, smart home gadgets)
• Users who need gigabit wired connections for desktops or smart TVs
• ISPs or technicians requiring remote device provisioning and diagnostics

How to use

Place the EX520 centrally in your home for the best wireless coverage and connect your broadband modem to the WAN Gigabit Ethernet port. Power on the device, then follow the Aginet mobile app or the web interface to complete initial setup: create SSIDs, set Wi‑Fi passwords and security mode (WPA3 recommended), and configure LAN settings if needed. For a mesh setup, add additional EasyMesh nodes or compatible routers through the app or web interface and follow the prompts to create a unified network.

Recommendations

For optimal performance place the router away from large metal objects and thick walls, keep firmware updated via Aginet or TR‑069 provisioning, and enable WPA3 where supported. Use wired Gigabit LAN connections for bandwidth‑intensive devices and deploy additional EasyMesh nodes to eliminate dead zones in larger homes.
