Tafelrouter MERCUSYS MR25BE EasyMesh Wi‑Fi 7 dual‑band 2,4/5 GHz, 3600 Mbit/s, 3× Gigabit-LAN, 4 externe antennes

MERCUSYS MR25BE is a tabletop EasyMesh router that supports Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be) dual‑band operation on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz with a combined maximum throughput of 3600 Mbps (688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 2880 Mbps on 5 GHz). The device is wall‑mountable, powered by DC, and intended for home and small office networks. It provides three Gigabit RJ‑45 LAN ports, a Gigabit WAN (RJ‑45) port, four external omni‑directional antennas and web‑based management with WPS and a reset button.

Advantages

The router delivers Wi‑Fi 7 performance with dual‑band support and high combined throughput, while offering wired Gigabit Ethernet ports for stable LAN connections. Built‑in security features include SPI firewall, VLAN/ACL, DMZ, guest networks on both bands and support for multiple VPN protocols. Compact tabletop design with wall‑mount capability and external antennas simplifies placement and signal coverage.

Suitable for

• Home broadband networks with multiple wireless devices
• Small office environments requiring VPN and access control
• Streaming and online gaming that benefit from dual‑band throughput
• Environments needing guest networks and port forwarding

How to use

Place the MR25BE on a stable surface or mount it on the wall, connect the DC power adapter to the DC‑in jack and attach the WAN cable to the RJ‑45 WAN port. Connect wired devices to the Gigabit LAN ports as needed. Use the web‑based management interface or WPS button to configure wireless SSIDs, passwords, guest networks and security settings. Set up VPN server or client profiles through the router’s management pages if remote access or site‑to‑site tunnels are required.

Recommendations

For optimal coverage place the router centrally and keep antennas upright. Use the 5 GHz band for latency‑sensitive tasks (gaming, 4K streaming) and the 2.4 GHz band for longer range. Enable guest networks to isolate visitor devices and keep firmware up to date to maintain security and performance.
