Tafelrouter MERCUSYS AC10 dual-band 2,4/5 GHz Wi‑Fi 5, 4 externe antennes, 1x Fast Ethernet (WAN/LAN)

The Mercusys AC10 tabletop router provides dual-band Wi‑Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) compliant with the 802.11ac (Wi‑Fi 5) standard and delivers combined wireless speeds suitable for home or small office use. It supports up to 1200 Mbps aggregated throughput (300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz), four external 5 dBi antennas for extended coverage, MU‑MIMO for simultaneous device communication, Fast Ethernet LAN ports for wired connections, and common wireless security protocols (WEP, WPA, WPA2).

Advantages

Dual‑band operation separates everyday tasks and high‑bandwidth activities across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to reduce interference. Four external 5 dBi antennas together with Beamforming improve coverage and focus signal strength toward connected devices. MU‑MIMO increases overall network throughput by serving multiple devices simultaneously. Easy web‑based setup enables quick installation without complex configuration. IGMP Proxy/Snooping, Bridge and VLAN tagging support help optimize IPTV and high‑resolution video streaming over the LAN.

Suitable for

• Internet browsing, email and social media on 2.4 GHz
• HD video streaming and online gaming on 5 GHz
• Small home or office wireless coverage
• IPTV and multimedia streaming via IGMP and VLAN support

How to use

Place the Mercusys AC10 router in a central location for optimal coverage and connect it to your modem using the WAN port. Power on the device, open the router’s web-based setup page, and follow the step‑by‑step instructions to configure your SSIDs and security settings. Choose the 2.4 GHz band for basic internet tasks and the 5 GHz band for latency-sensitive or high‑bandwidth activities. Connect wired devices to the Fast Ethernet LAN port when a stable wired link is required.

Recommendations

For best wireless performance, position the router away from large metal objects and sources of interference (microwave ovens, cordless phones), place it elevated if possible, and keep firmware up to date via the Mercusys support page. Use WPA2‑PSK for network security and separate SSIDs for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz if you want to manually assign devices to a specific band.
