TP-Link INSIGHT S355 bullet IP-beveiligingscamera buiten 2880 x 1620 pixels wand

The TP-Link INSIGHT S355 is a 5MP outdoor wired bullet IP security camera with a resolution of 2880 x 1620 pixels and a 6 mm lens. Designed for perimeter and outdoor monitoring, the camera offers full-color imaging, a 52.7° horizontal field of view and the ability to detect objects at distances up to 120 metres. It supports wired network connection and uses a CMOS sensor to deliver clear daytime and enhanced low-light performance.

Advantages

Built-in people and vehicle analytics enable fast post-event search and filtering by attributes. The camera distinguishes humans and vehicles from other objects to reduce false alarms. Smart video enhancement technologies — including True WDR for balanced exposure, Smart IR for adaptive infrared illumination, 3D DNR for frame-based noise reduction, and automatic white balance — improve image clarity across challenging lighting conditions. Efficient H.265+ compression reduces bandwidth and storage requirements compared with H.264 and H.265 while preserving image quality.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and outdoor property surveillance
• Monitoring driveways, entrances and parking areas
• Sites requiring people and vehicle detection and post-event search

How to use

Mount the camera in a suitable outdoor location with stable wired network access and an appropriate power source. Aim the lens to cover the intended area (driveway, entrance or perimeter) and adjust the angle to optimise the 52.7° horizontal view. Connect the camera to your network and configure recording, analytics and compression settings via the INSIGHT management software or compatible NVR. Verify detection and notification settings so people and vehicle alerts match your requirements.

Recommendations

For reliable detection and image quality, install the INSIGHT S355 at a height and distance that keeps subjects within the recommended detection range and field of view. Use H.265+ when storage or bandwidth is limited, and enable True WDR and Smart IR in high-contrast or low-light scenes to maintain usable footage.
