The Triton Shelf with perforation 1U 350mm Triton RAC-UP-350-A1 is a rack-mounted shelf designed for organized storage in server rooms and network cabinets. It has a perforated surface for improved airflow, a depth of 350 mm and supports equipment up to 40 kg. The shelf comes in cream and grey finish and is intended for efficient placement of non-rackmountable devices and accessories.

Advantages

The perforated design enhances ventilation and helps prevent heat buildup around stored devices. With a 1U height and 350 mm depth the shelf fits standard racks while offering a 40 kg load capacity for a variety of network and IT components. The neutral cream and grey colour scheme integrates with typical data center and office rack environments.

Suitable for

• Storing power supplies, UPS units and cable bundles
• Organising peripherals and spare parts in network cabinets

How to use

Install the shelf in a standard 19-inch rack at the required 1U position using the rack's mounting holes and hardware. Place devices centrally on the shelf to maintain balance and avoid exceeding the 40 kg maximum load. Ensure cables are routed to allow airflow through the perforations and leave clearance around active equipment for efficient cooling.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid placing heat-generating equipment directly adjacent with no airflow; periodically check fastenings and loaded weight. Use in climate-controlled environments such as server rooms or network closets for best performance.
