The Trust GXT 490 FAYZO is a wired over-ear gaming headset that delivers an immersive audio experience with virtual 7.1 surround sound and 50 mm drivers. Built with 85% recycled plastics, the headset combines clear audio reproduction across a 20–20,000 Hz frequency range with a lightweight 290 g design and a 2 m cable for comfortable, unrestricted play on PC, PS4 and PS5.

Advantages

The FAYZO provides virtual 7.1 surround sound for precise positional audio and 50 mm drivers for detailed reproduction of footsteps, voices and effects. Its construction uses a high proportion of recycled plastics, reducing environmental impact while retaining durable build quality. Soft earpads, an adjustable headband and swiveling ear-cups ensure comfort during long sessions. A detachable, noise-cancelling microphone and on-ear controls for volume and mic mute offer practical in-game control. Customizable RGB lighting and PC software support for EQ and microphone ENC let you personalise sound and settings.

Suitable for

PC gaming with USB connection and software customisation
Console gaming on PS4 and PS5
Voice chat and multiplayer coordination using the noise-cancelling microphone
Extended gaming sessions requiring comfortable over-ear design

Key specifications

Type: Wired over-ear (circumaural) gaming headset

Virtual surround: 7.1
Frequency response: 20–20,000 Hz
Cable length: 2 m (USB connection)
Weight: 0.29 kg

Compatibility: PC, PS4, PS5

How to use

Connect the included USB cable to a compatible device (PC, PS4 or PS5). Adjust the headband and swivel the ear-cups to achieve a comfortable fit. Attach or fold the detachable microphone as needed and use the on-ear controls to set volume or mute the microphone. On PC, install the Trust software to configure custom EQ profiles, enable or adjust virtual 7.1 settings and set microphone environmental noise cancellation (ENC).

Recommendations

For best positional audio, enable the virtual 7.1 feature in the PC software and create a custom EQ to suit your game genre. Keep the microphone attached and positioned close to the mouth for clearer voice transmission during team play. Store the headset in a cool, dry place and avoid exposing the cable to sharp bends to prolong lifespan.
