Tuinspuit op haspel AWTools 1/2 inch 20 m model 1028728

AWTools garden hose on reel 1/2 inch 20 m model 1028728 is a manual reel hose system designed for home garden irrigation and outdoor cleaning. The 1/2-inch diameter hose and 20 m working length provide a balance between flow rate and reach, while the integrated reel allows neat storage and faster deployment. The unit is intended for use where a compact, easy-to-store hose is helpful and aims to reduce kinks and tangles compared with loose hoses.

Advantages

The hose on reel combines a medium-diameter hose with a manual winding mechanism to simplify handling and storage. A mounted reel keeps the hose organized, reduces the risk of damage from tangling or snagging, and shortens setup and pack-away time. The 20 m length covers typical garden and lawn areas without requiring extension, and the 1/2-inch bore maintains adequate water flow for sprinklers, spray guns and general watering tasks.

How to use

Unwind the required length of hose from the reel and connect the hose end to a water supply or tap using standard threaded garden fittings. Attach the desired nozzle, spray gun or sprinkler to the free end. Open the water supply and operate the nozzle or sprinkler as needed. After use, close the water supply, release any pressure by opening the nozzle briefly, and wind the hose back onto the reel using the manual crank or hand rotation to prevent kinks and tangles.

Recommendations

To prolong hose life, avoid leaving the hose exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods and drain water from the hose before winter storage. Use moderate water pressure to prevent strain on connections and the reel mechanism. Inspect fittings periodically for wear and ensure the reel is mounted or placed on a stable surface during operation.
