Tuinspuitrol AWTools 1/2 inch 15 m model 1028721

AWTools 1/2" 15 m garden hose reel model 1028721 combines a 15-metre flexible watering hose with a compact winding reel for organised storage and straightforward deployment. The product is designed for standard outdoor taps and provides a convenient solution for watering beds, lawns and general garden maintenance while keeping the hose protected from kinks and ground wear. The reel keeps the hose accessible and reduces the time spent coiling and uncoiling.

Advantages

The integrated reel allows quick winding and prevents tangles, while the 1/2" hose diameter balances flow rate and manoeuvrability for most residential watering tasks. A 15 m length covers medium-size gardens and patios without excessive slack. The design reduces hose wear by keeping it elevated from the ground and facilitates storage in a compact footprint. Materials and fittings are compatible with standard outdoor taps to simplify installation.

How to use

Connect the hose end to a standard outdoor tap using the hose fitting, open the tap to the required flow and extend the hose from the reel to the area to be watered. Use the reel crank or winding mechanism to unwind the required length and to wind the hose back after use. Avoid sharp bends near fittings and keep the hose clear of sharp edges or hot surfaces. After watering, drain remaining water from the hose before winding to reduce internal pressure and to extend service life.

Recommendations

For best results, store the reel in a shaded, frost-free location during winter and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when not in use. Periodically inspect fittings and the hose for wear or leaks and replace damaged sections to maintain good water flow and prevent wastage.
