Turret-netwerkcamera Hikvision DS-2CD23126G3-IS2UY/SL 12MP 2,8mm Easy IP 4.0+

Hikvision DS-2CD23126G3-IS2UY/SL is a turret network camera with a 12MP sensor and a fixed 2.8 mm lens, built on the Easy IP 4.0+ platform. The camera provides high-resolution video suitable for detailed scene capture in entranceways, parking areas and perimeter monitoring. It supports network connectivity for continuous day/night operation and is designed for integration into IP-based surveillance systems.

Advantages

The camera delivers 12MP resolution for clear identification of faces and license plates at short to medium ranges while maintaining a compact turret form factor. A fixed 2.8 mm lens gives a wide field of view for covering entrances and parking zones. Built on the Easy IP 4.0+ platform, the device supports modern network features and compatibility with Hikvision ecosystem components. It is intended for stable day/night performance and reliable scene detail under typical surveillance lighting conditions.

Suitable for

• Monitoring building entrances and lobbies
• Parking lots and driveways
• Perimeter surveillance of small to medium sites
• Retail storefronts and outdoor walkways

Key specifications

• Image sensor: 12 megapixels (high-resolution CMOS sensor)
• Lens: fixed 2.8 mm focal length for a wide-angle view
• Form factor: turret-style outdoor-capable camera
• Video platform: Easy IP 4.0+ network architecture
• Day/night capability: designed for continuous day/night monitoring
• Network: IP connectivity for integration with NVRs and management software
• Mounting: ceiling or wall mounting options typical for turret cameras

How to use

Install the Hikvision turret camera at a location that provides an unobstructed view of the target area, such as above an entrance or overlooking a parking area. Connect the camera to the local network using Ethernet; if PoE is supported in the installation environment, use a PoE switch or injector for power and data over a single cable. Configure the camera via the network management interface or Hikvision-compatible software, set resolution and frame rate to balance image detail and bandwidth, and adjust the field of view by positioning the turret housing. Store footage on a compatible NVR or network storage with appropriate retention settings.

Recommendations

For best results, mount the camera at a height that avoids obstructions and minimizes direct sunlight into the lens. Use appropriate network security settings and keep firmware updated within the Hikvision Easy IP 4.0+ environment. When monitoring license plates or faces, verify that camera angle and distance provide sufficient pixel density by testing at installation.
