Ubiquiti UACC-OFC-S2-LULU-5M InfiniBand glasvezelkabel LC LC geel 5m

The Ubiquiti UACC-OFC-S2-LULU-5M is a lightweight 5-metre InfiniBand fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends, intended for high-speed full-duplex data transmission. Designed for reliable connections in data centres and professional network environments, the yellow cable helps identify fibre links and supports up to 100G connections where compatible hardware and transceivers are used.

Advantages

This LC–LC InfiniBand fibre cable offers low weight and flexible handling for tight routing, full-duplex transmission for simultaneous bidirectional traffic, and standard LC connector compatibility for common rack and chassis equipment. The 5 m length provides a balance between reach and manageability in typical rack-to-rack or device-to-device connections.

Suitable for

• Rack-to-rack connections in data centres
• High-speed links between switches, servers, or storage systems
• InfiniBand network segments requiring LC connectors
• Environments where a 5 m yellow fibre patch cable is preferred for identification

Key specifications

• Brand: UBIQUITI
• Model / MPN: UACC-OFC-S2-LULU-5M
• Length: 5 m
• Connector type: LC – LC
• Cable type: InfiniBand fibre optic patch cable
• Colour: Yellow
• Transmission: Full duplex, up to 100G where supported by equipment

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust before connection, then insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port until it clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and compressive stress, and secure with cable management to prevent strain. When disconnecting, press the LC latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule or connector.

Recommendations

Use appropriate transceivers and compatible InfiniBand or fibre equipment rated for 100G to achieve maximum supported throughput. Keep protective caps on connectors when not in use and follow data centre best practices for fibre handling and cleaning.
