Ultrakorteafstandsprojector Optoma GT3500HDR 3800 ANSI lumen DLP 1080p

The Optoma GT3500HDR is an ultra short throw DLP projector with a native 1080p (1920x1080) resolution and 3800 ANSI lumens brightness. Designed for continuous, maintenance‑free operation, the laser light source offers up to 30,000 hours of operation and a fixed 3.7 mm focal length with a 0.253:1 throw ratio, making it suitable for use in compact rooms for home entertainment, live sports, games and presentations.

Advantages

The GT3500HDR combines high brightness with compact dimensions — up to 34% smaller than previous models — and energy‑efficient DuraCore laser technology that reduces power consumption by up to 45% versus lamp-based Optoma projectors. The mercury‑free laser engine requires minimal maintenance and provides a long service life. The model also includes an external power supply for improved reliability and portability, and the chassis uses up to 50% post‑consumer recycled (PCR) plastic while packaging is up to 97% recyclable.

Suitable for

• Small to medium home cinemas and living rooms
• Viewing live sports and TV with ambient light
• Console and PC gaming in compact spaces
• Presentations and meetings in small meeting rooms

How to use

Place the GT3500HDR close to the projection surface according to the 0.253:1 throw ratio and align it with the screen or wall. Connect your source devices using the available inputs (HDMI and other connectivity options) and adjust basic picture settings as needed. The projector is designed for continuous operation with minimal maintenance thanks to the sealed laser light engine; routine dusting of vents and ensuring adequate ventilation are typically sufficient to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For best image quality in ambient light, use a light control surface or a high‑gain projection screen and position the projector at the specified ultra short throw distance. Allow adequate ventilation space around the external power supply and projector housing, and follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for cleaning and filter maintenance where applicable.
