UNEX 2273DT metaal-detecteerbare kabelbinder 7,6x376 mm azuurblauw (100 stuks)

In food processing plants where a stray plastic fragment can halt a production line, the UNEX 2273DT cable tie provides a critical safety net. Its ferrous-particle-filled polyamide 6.6 body is detectable by both metal detectors and X-ray inspection systems, ensuring lost or trimmed ties are caught before they contaminate product. This azure blue tie measures 7.6 mm wide and 376 mm long, bundling cables up to 102 mm in diameter with a tensile strength of 550 N. The self-locking design installs quickly by hand or tool, and the material withstands temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for washdown areas and cold storage. Each pack contains 100 pieces, ready for high-volume use in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical environments.

Why choose it

Unlike standard cable ties, the 2273DT is engineered for detectability. Its metal-filled nylon composition ensures that even small fragments trigger metal detectors or X-ray scanners, reducing the risk of costly recalls. The high tensile strength and wide temperature range make it reliable in demanding industrial settings, while the azure blue colour provides high visibility for quick visual checks. Compliance with HACCP guidelines supports food safety programmes.

Ideal use cases

• Securing cables and hoses in food and beverage processing lines
• Bundling wires in pharmaceutical manufacturing where contamination control is critical
• Organising pneumatic tubing in chemical plants
• General industrial applications requiring detectable fastening

Good to know

Installation should be performed at temperatures above -10°C to avoid brittleness. While the material offers limited UV resistance, it is intended primarily for indoor or enclosed environments. The ties are self-locking and non-releasable, providing a permanent fastening solution. For best results, use a tensioning tool to achieve consistent tightness.
