UNITEK V1109A HDMI-videosplitter 4x HDMI 4K 1.4b

The UNITEK V1109A HDMI Video Splitter 4x HDMI 4K 1.4b enables distribution of a single HDMI source to up to four HDMI displays while preserving high-definition video up to 3840 x 2160 pixels. Supporting HDMI 1.4b specification, the compact splitter measures 110 mm in width, 60 mm in depth and 19.1 mm in height and features five HDMI ports (one input and four outputs). The unit is finished in black and grey and is powered at 5 V with a 2 A current supply to ensure stable signal distribution across multiple displays.

Advantages

The device provides simultaneous output to multiple displays with a single video source, maintaining 4K resolution where supported by connected equipment and cables. Its compact footprint allows easy placement in AV racks, on desktops, or behind displays. The HDMI 1.4b compatibility ensures support for common HDMI features across a wide range of consumer and professional devices. The included power requirements (5 V/2 A) deliver consistent voltage and current for stable operation when driving several outputs.

How to use

Connect the HDMI source (computer, media player, set-top box or other HDMI device) to the splitter's input port using a high-quality HDMI cable. Connect each display to one of the four HDMI output ports with compatible HDMI cables, then attach the 5 V DC power adapter and switch the unit on. Verify that all connected displays are set to the correct HDMI input and that source resolution is within the splitter’s supported range. If a display does not show the image, check cable seating and try restarting the source and the displays to ensure handshake and EDID negotiation complete correctly.

Recommendations

Use high-quality, high-speed HDMI cables rated for the desired resolution and length to preserve signal integrity. For reliable 4K performance, ensure source device, displays, and cables all support the target resolution and HDMI features. Avoid excessive cable lengths and minimize electromagnetic interference by routing cables away from power lines and large electrical equipment. When deploying in multi-display environments, test each output with the intended display to confirm consistent image quality before final installation.
