The Ansmann 1600-0436 LED strip light is a compact, battery-powered lighting solution designed to provide warm white ambient illumination along surfaces up to 2000 mm. With a low total power consumption of 0.2 W, this universal strip light is intended for supplemental, decorative, or task-adjacent lighting where mains power is unavailable or impractical. Adhesive tape backing simplifies installation on cabinets, shelves, closets, display cases, or under-cabinet areas.

Advantages

This strip light combines low energy usage and portable operation, enabling placement in locations without fixed wiring. The warm white LED output creates a consistent, visually comfortable light tone suitable for accent and indirect lighting. Its slim length and adhesive mounting allow discreet integration into interior fittings while battery operation eliminates the need for visible wiring or dedicated outlets.

Suitable for

• Cabinet and shelf accent lighting
• Closet and wardrobe interior illumination
• Under-cabinet task or ambient lighting in kitchens and workspaces
• Display cases and retail shelving highlighting
• Temporary or mobile installations where mains access is limited

Key specifications

• Light source: warm white LED
• Power consumption: 0.2 W (total)
• Length: 2000 mm
• Mounting: adhesive tape backing for surface attachment
• Power supply: battery-operated (portable use)
• Design: low-profile linear strip for discreet installation

How to use

Clean and dry the mounting surface before application to ensure secure adhesion. Remove the protective liner from the adhesive tape and press the strip firmly along the chosen surface, aligning it to the desired position. Install or insert the required batteries according to the manufacturer’s guidance and switch the light on. For best results, position the strip so the LED faces the area to be illuminated while avoiding direct exposure to moisture or high temperatures.

Recommendations

For longer battery life, use the light in intermittent cycles and switch it off when not required. Avoid mounting on uneven or dusty surfaces without additional mechanical support. If permanent or higher-output lighting is needed, consider a mains-powered LED solution appropriate for the application.
