UPS ORVALDI ID1K5CH 1,5 kVA (900 W) line-interactive, 24 V accu, LCD, USB, compact zwart

The Orvaldi ID1K5CH uninterruptible power supply UPS 1.5 kVA 900 W is a Line-Interactive UPS designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from mains disturbances and short interruptions. It provides an output power capacity of 1.5 kVA and a continuous output power of 900 W. The unit uses a 24 V, 9 Ah battery and features a compact, black enclosure with an LCD display for status and basic configuration information.

Advantages

The Line-Interactive topology offers automatic voltage regulation to stabilise fluctuations without switching to battery when possible, reducing battery wear and extending runtime availability. The integrated LCD display presents operating parameters and status at a glance, while the compact form factor makes the UPS suitable for use in constrained spaces. The rated output power of 900 W supports a range of small servers, network devices and workstations that require reliable short-term backup power.

How to use

Place the UPS on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources and moisture. Connect the UPS input to a grounded mains outlet and plug protected devices into the battery-backed output sockets. Use the LCD to monitor input voltage, load level and battery charge. In the event of mains failure, the UPS will supply connected equipment from the internal battery; allow the device to perform a controlled shutdown if runtime is exhausted. Follow the manufacturer’s manual for battery replacement intervals and safety precautions.

Recommendations

To maximise service life, keep the UPS in a temperature-controlled environment and avoid repeated full discharges. Regularly test the battery under load and replace it according to the manufacturer’s guidance. For installations with higher power requirements, evaluate parallel or larger-capacity UPS models.
