USAMS Gravity Air Vent autohouder zwart US-ZJ052

The Car holder Gravity black usams US-ZJ052 for ventilation grille is a gravity-based smartphone mount designed for secure attachment to a car's air vent. The mount uses the weight of the inserted device to activate automatic clamping arms that hold the phone firmly in place. It offers a compact, tool-free installation on horizontal or vertical slats of most ventilation grilles and allows convenient one-handed placement and removal of the device for navigation, calls and media control while driving.

Advantages

The gravity-clamp mechanism provides automatic, hands-free locking and release without manual adjustments. A universal cradle design accommodates a wide range of smartphone sizes while maintaining stable contact. The vent clip is engineered for easy attachment to common air vent profiles, minimizing obstruction of airflow. The holder's black finish is discreet and resists visible wear, integrating with most vehicle interiors. Simple, compact construction reduces visual clutter and enables quick repositioning.

Suitable for

• Mounting smartphones for in-car navigation
• Hands-free phone calls while driving
• Controlling media and music apps safely
• Short-term mounting of devices during passenger use

Key specifications

• Mounting method: attachment to vehicle ventilation grille
• Clamping mechanism: gravity-activated automatic arms
• Compatibility: adjustable cradle for a wide range of smartphone widths
• Orientation: portrait and limited landscape support depending on vent position
• Material and finish: durable plastic with black coating
• Installation: tool-free clip-on design for horizontal and vertical vent slats

How to use

Attach the vent clip to a selected vent slat by pushing it onto the grille until it is secure. Hold the phone above the cradle and insert the device so its weight engages the gravity arms; the arms will close around the sides and secure the phone. To remove the phone, lift it upward out of the cradle to release the arms. Adjust the mount position on the vent as needed to optimize viewing angle and to avoid blocking essential controls or displays.

Recommendations

Install the holder on a sturdy vent slat and avoid attaching to damaged or severely curved grilles. Check that the phone is fully engaged in the cradle before driving. For heavy or large devices, verify stability before use and avoid rough road conditions when possible. Periodically clean the clip and contact surfaces to maintain secure grip and prevent wear.
