USB-audio-adapter Equip 245320

The Equip USB Audio Adapter (model 245320) is a compact USB Type-A device that adds an extra sound card to a computer. Its black housing and small dimensions (22 × 51 × 12 mm) make it suitable for use with laptops and desktops when an additional audio input/output is needed. The adapter works as a plug-and-play solution without requiring extra drivers and is designed to handle headset and microphone connections separately from the onboard sound card.

Advantages

This USB audio adapter provides an independent audio device for voice applications, allowing simultaneous use of the onboard sound card for system audio and the USB adapter for a headset or microphone. Its compact size and USB Type-A connection make it easy to install and transport, and the adapter’s plug-and-play behavior reduces setup time.

Suitable for

• VoIP and video calls (Skype, Teams, Zoom)
• Using a dedicated headset and microphone alongside the computer’s main audio
• Adding an extra audio device to a laptop or desktop without opening the case

Recommendations

For best results, connect the adapter directly to the computer’s USB port rather than through an unpowered hub. When using VoIP software, confirm the adapter is chosen as the input/output device in the app settings to avoid audio routing conflicts.
