USB-C-adapter ShiverPeaks 14-05036 90° haaks links/rechts, USB-C-stekkeradapter

The ShiverPeaks USB-C Adapter 14-05036 is a compact 90° angled plug adapter for USB-C connections that redirects the cable exit to the left or right. Designed for environments with limited space behind devices, this adapter preserves the original USB-C plug while changing the cable orientation to reduce strain on the cable and the device port. The adapter is compatible with laptops, tablets, smartphones and wall chargers that use a standard USB-C male plug.

Advantages

This angled USB-C adapter provides a simple mechanical solution to routing and strain-relief issues without requiring changes to existing cables. Its low-profile design helps maintain device placement close to walls or inside tight compartments, and the reversible left/right orientation allows flexible positioning depending on device layout. The adapter maintains the standard USB-C connection form factor and is suitable for frequent plugging and unplugging where cable stress is a concern.

Suitable for

• Routing USB-C cables behind furniture or walls where straight connectors obstruct placement
• Reducing strain on USB-C ports in laptops and mobile devices
• Improving cable accessibility on chargers and docking stations with confined space
• Temporary or permanent cable management in offices, homes and travel setups

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB-C male adapter that reorients cable 90° to left or right
• Orientation: 90° angled left/right configuration
• Compatibility: Standard USB-C plug interfaces on host devices and cables
• Form factor: Compact, low-profile plug adapter designed for minimal protrusion
• Primary function: Mechanical cable direction change and strain relief

How to use

Insert the adapter onto the USB-C cable plug or directly into the device’s USB-C port, aligning the connector until it seats firmly. Rotate the adapter to the required left or right orientation so the cable exits at a 90° angle relative to the port. Ensure the connection is secure before applying tension to the cable. The adapter can remain attached during regular use and can be removed by pulling the adapter straight off the plug when necessary.

Recommendations

Use this adapter to reduce repeated bending at the cable termination point and to allow devices to sit closer to walls or inside tight enclosures. Avoid exposing the adapter to excessive force or twisting; if heavy strain is expected, combine the adapter with additional cable management solutions such as clips or straps to distribute mechanical load.
