USB-C audio-adapter SANDBERG PD65W 136-67 met USB-C PD passthrough

The SANDBERG USB-C audio adapter PD65W 136-67 connects USB-C devices to 3.5 mm audio equipment while allowing power delivery passthrough up to 65 W. It is designed for laptops, tablets and smartphones with USB-C ports and enables simultaneous wired audio output and charging of the host device. The adapter supports standard analog audio signals for headphones, speakers and hands-free headsets and provides a compact, portable solution for meetings, media playback and mobile work.

Advantages

The adapter combines an analog 3.5 mm audio interface with USB-C Power Delivery passthrough so you can use wired headphones or external speakers without losing the ability to charge the host device. Its plug-and-play design requires no drivers on most modern operating systems and the compact form factor fits easily in laptop bags or pockets. The cable and connector are designed to provide stable audio connection and consistent charging performance when used with compatible chargers and host devices.

Suitable for

• Listening to music or watching video on USB-C laptops, tablets and smartphones while charging
• Online meetings and voice calls using wired headsets with a 3.5 mm jack
• Connecting portable speakers to USB-C-only devices
• Travel and mobile work where space and battery life are limited

Key specifications

• Connector A: USB-C (male)
• Connector B: 3.5 mm audio jack (female) and USB-C power input (female) for passthrough
• Power passthrough: up to 65 W Power Delivery
• Audio: analog stereo output compatible with standard headphones and speakers
• Compatibility: devices with USB-C audio support and Power Delivery-capable chargers
• Form factor: compact inline adapter with short cable

How to use

Plug the USB-C male connector of the adapter into the host device's USB-C port. Connect wired headphones or a speaker to the 3.5 mm jack. If charging is required, plug a USB-C PD charger into the adapter's power input; the adapter will pass power through to the host device while maintaining the analog audio connection. No additional software is typically needed—audio routing is handled by the host device's audio settings. Ensure the connected charger and host port support USB-C Power Delivery to achieve the rated passthrough power.

Recommendations

Use a USB-C PD charger rated for the required wattage to ensure stable charging. For best audio quality, use headphones or speakers in good condition and avoid excessive cable strain at the connector. If audio or charging does not work, verify that the host device supports analog audio over USB-C and that the charger provides Power Delivery; try a different cable or port if necessary.
