USB-C hub Unitek 7in1 aluminium PD 100W 5 Gbps — multiport-adapter met Power Delivery

The Unitek USB-C Hub 7in1 Aluminium PD 100W 5 Gbps is a compact multiport adapter designed to expand a single USB-C port into a versatile workstation connector. Housed in an aluminium enclosure, the hub provides multiple interfaces for peripherals, external storage, video output and power delivery. It supports high-speed data transfers up to 5 Gbps and Power Delivery up to 100 W, allowing simultaneous device charging while using connected accessories.

Advantages

The aluminium construction offers improved heat dissipation and a durable feel without adding significant weight. With support for 5 Gbps data transfer, the hub accommodates fast file exchange with external SSDs and flash drives. Power Delivery up to 100 W enables charging of power-hungry laptops and tablets through the hub while other ports remain available. The compact footprint and single-cable connection reduce desk clutter and simplify docking for travel and remote work setups.

How to use

Connect the Unitek USB-C Hub to a host device using the integrated USB-C cable or provided connector. If charging the host, connect a USB-C PD power adapter to the hub’s power delivery port; the hub will pass power through to the connected laptop or tablet while keeping other ports active. Attach peripherals such as external drives, keyboards, mice, or insert SD/microSD cards into the appropriate slots. For video output, connect an external display through the hub’s video port and configure display settings on the host if needed.

Recommendations

Use a PD power adapter rated for the required wattage of your laptop to ensure stable charging and operation. When transferring large files, connect drives to the 5 Gbps-capable USB port for optimal speed. Avoid exposing the aluminium hub to prolonged direct sunlight or liquid contact; place it on a stable, flat surface to maintain reliable connections.
