USB-hub Anker 332 grijs USB Type-C 5000 Mbit/s HDMI USB 3.2

The Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1) expands a single USB-C port into HDMI, multiple USB-A and USB-C data ports and a PD-IN port. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 data rates up to 5 Gbps and HDMI output up to 4K@30Hz, enabling connection of external displays, fast file transfers and pass-through charging for laptops and compatible devices.

Advantages

This compact hub provides five connectivity options in one compact grey enclosure: a 4K-capable HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports and a 100W PD-IN for power delivery. It supports up to 85W pass-through charging to keep a laptop powered while other ports are in use, and offers USB 3.2 Gen 1 transfer speeds for rapid file movement. The hub is plug-and-play with no driver required for most systems.

How to use

Connect the hub to a host device using its built-in USB-C plug. For video output, attach an HDMI cable from the hub’s HDMI port to an external monitor; the hub supports up to 4K@30Hz. Use the USB-A and USB-C data ports to connect external drives, flash drives, or peripherals for data transfer at up to 5 Gbps. To enable pass-through charging, connect a suitable external USB-C charger to the PD-IN port; the hub will provide up to 85W to the host when the connected charger supports sufficient output. Note that the hub’s USB-C data ports do not provide video output.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K display performance, use a high-quality HDMI cable and ensure the host device supports 4K output. To achieve maximum charging for iPad devices, use a 45W wall charger as recommended. Keep firmware and system updates current on your host device for optimal compatibility.
