USB-hub Anker Ultra slank A8309G11 — USB Type-C-host, 3× USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, compact 103×30×10 mm, zwart

Anker Ultra Slim A8309G11 is a compact USB hub that adds three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type‑A ports to devices with a USB Type‑C host interface. Designed for portable use, the hub measures 103 × 30 × 10 mm and weighs 35 g, providing a small footprint for travel and mobile work. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer speeds (up to 5 Gbit/s) for connecting peripherals and external storage devices and is finished in black to match common laptop and accessory styles.

Advantages

The hub offers three high-speed Type‑A ports while maintaining a slim, lightweight housing that fits into bags or pockets. Its Type‑C host connector enables straightforward connection to modern laptops, tablets and other Type‑C devices without requiring additional adapters. The compact dimensions and low weight make it convenient for users who need extra USB ports on the go, and the black finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates with most setups.

Suitable for

• Expanding USB connectivity on laptops and tablets with USB Type‑C ports
• Connecting mice, keyboards and other peripherals while travelling
• Attaching external SSDs and HDDs for data transfer and backup
• Mobile work setups where a compact, lightweight hub is required

Key specifications

• Host interface: USB Type‑C
• Downstream ports: 3 × USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type‑A)
• Maximum theoretical data transfer rate: up to 5 Gbit/s per USB 3.2 Gen 1 port
• Dimensions: 103 × 30 × 10 mm
• Weight: 35 g
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect the hub's USB Type‑C plug to a compatible Type‑C host port on a laptop, tablet or other device. After connection, plug USB Type‑A peripherals or external storage devices into any of the three Type‑A ports. The hub uses the host device's power for connected peripherals; no external power supply is required for typical USB accessories. For optimal transfer speeds, connect devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 1 and ensure the host port also supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer.

Recommendations

To maintain performance, avoid connecting multiple high-power-draw devices simultaneously. For prolonged transfers with external drives, place the hub on a stable, cool surface and ensure the host device remains powered and awake. If a device is not recognised, disconnect and reconnect the hub or the peripheral, and check host system USB settings.
