USB-hub Aukey CB-H36 — 4-poorts USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, host USB 2.0, 5000 Mbit/s, aluminium zilver

Aukey CB-H36 converts a single USB host port into four USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1) Type‑A ports, providing up to 5 Gbit/s transfer speeds in a slim aluminium silver housing. The compact hub (30 × 98 × 11 mm) offers improved heat dissipation compared with PVC designs and is suitable for connecting external drives, peripherals and small devices where higher data rates are required. It supports legacy host interfaces and a wide range of operating systems for broad compatibility.

Advantages

The aluminium body ensures better heat dissipation and long-term durability, while the thin, lightweight design keeps the hub portable and unobtrusive on a desk. Four Type‑A USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports provide fast data sync at up to 5 Gbit/s, enabling rapid transfers such as an HD movie in seconds. Backward compatibility with USB 2.0 host ports and broad OS support increases versatility across devices.

How to use

Connect the hub's USB plug to a host USB 2.0 port on your computer. Then plug USB devices into any of the four Type‑A ports; the hub will provide high‑speed data transfer for compatible devices and maintain backward compatibility with USB 2.0 peripherals. No additional drivers are typically required for modern operating systems listed below—simply connect and use.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, connect high‑speed storage devices directly to the hub when transferring large files. Ensure the host port supports the required power and data rates; for power‑hungry devices consider using a hub with external power. Keep the aluminium enclosure ventilated during extended heavy use to benefit from improved heat dissipation.
