USB-hub VALUE 12.99.1124 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A zwart 5 m

The VALUE 12.99.1124 USB Hub is a compact, black USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub with a 5 m active USB connection cable that allows placement of the hub farther from the computer. It provides four downstream USB ports and supports both Type-A and Type-C hub interfaces, expanding connectivity options for peripherals such as printers, external drives and input devices.

Advantages

The 5 m active repeater cable extends the usable distance between the computer and connected devices while maintaining USB 3.2 Gen 1 data rates. The compact housing and lightweight design make the hub easy to position on a desk or near peripheral devices. Compatibility with Type-A host ports and both Type-A and Type-C hub interfaces offers flexible connection options for a variety of devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers, scanners and external hard drives located away from the PC
• Expanding USB ports for laptops or desktop PCs with limited USB-A ports
• Situations that require a longer USB connection without signal loss

How to use

Connect the hub's 5 m USB-A host cable to a free USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port on your computer. Place the hub near the devices you want to connect and plug peripherals into the hub's Type-A or Type-C ports. The active repeater cable maintains signal quality over the extended 5 m distance; no additional drivers are typically required for standard USB devices, though installing device-specific drivers may be necessary for some peripherals.

Recommendations

For reliable high-speed data transfer, connect both host and downstream devices to USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports when possible. Avoid coiling the 5 m cable tightly and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. If a connected device requires external power, use its own power supply rather than relying on the hub for bus power.
