USB-stick HP x206C 32 GB, USB Type-A/Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 1, swivel, zilver

The HP OTG Type-C USB 3.2 Dual Pen Drive x206C is a compact 32 GB flash drive with both USB Type-C and USB Type-A connectors. Its swivel metal form factor protects the connectors without a removable cap and supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 performance for quick access to photos, videos, documents and other files across modern smartphones, tablets and computers.

Advantages

The dual-connectors design lets you connect directly to Type-C equipped Android devices and newer computers while remaining compatible with older Type-A ports. With USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface and up to 120 MB/s read speed, the drive enables fast file transfer and backup. The small, metal swivel body is durable and portable, offering convenient on-the-go storage without losing a cap.

Suitable for

• Expanding storage and backing up files from Type-C Android smartphones and tablets
• Transferring photos, videos and documents between mobile devices and PCs or Macs
• Carrying media for playback or streaming directly from the drive

When it may not be suitable

This drive is intended for general file storage, transfer and media access; it is not a substitute for high-end external SSDs if you need sustained high write speeds or very large capacity. It also does not include wireless features—direct connection is required.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 32 GB
• Interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1)
• Connectors: USB Type-C and USB Type-A
• Maximum read speed: up to 120 MB/s
• Form factor: Swivel metal body
• Colour: Silver

How to use

Insert the appropriate connector (Type-C or Type-A) into your device’s USB port. The drive should appear as removable storage on Android devices, Windows PCs and Macs—use your device’s file manager to browse, copy or stream files. When finished, unmount or eject the drive from the operating system before removing it to avoid data loss.

What to consider before purchase

• Check that your device supports USB OTG for direct connection to Android smartphones and tablets
• Consider whether 32 GB capacity and the listed read speed meet your storage and performance needs
• Ensure your target computer or device has a compatible USB Type-C or Type-A port

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the drive for file transfer, media playback and backups rather than continuous high-volume write tasks; safely eject before removal and keep the swivel mechanism free of debris.
