High transfer speed up to 100 MB/s reduces waiting time when moving files. Large maximum capacity (up to 256 GB) lets you store bulky media and documents. Compact, pocketable black housing combines portability with a simple, unobtrusive look. Built-in SanDisk SecureAccess provides password protection and 128-bit AES encryption for private files. Five-year limited warranty offers manufacturer backing.

How to use

Insert the SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 drive into a USB 3.0 port on your computer for optimal speed; it will also work in USB 2.0 ports at lower speeds. Copy or move files using your operating system’s file manager. To protect files, run the preinstalled SanDisk SecureAccess software, create a password-protected private folder and move sensitive files into that folder. Eject the drive safely from the operating system before removing it from the USB port.

Recommendations

For fastest transfer rates, connect the drive to a USB 3.0 port and use it with a computer that supports USB 3.0. Keep a backup of important files in another location despite using encryption on the drive. Follow safe-eject procedures to prevent file corruption.
